Activity During WWII

On February 2, 1940, he was assigned to the Marine detachment aboard the USS Oklahoma. It was moored at Ford Island when it was torpedoed by Japanese aircraft on December 7, 1941. His remains were unidentified until May 25, 2021 when they were identified through DNA.
