Activity During WWII

Served in the Pacific and Atlantic Theaters. He served in 1944 and 1945 Theater in the Artillery, XIX Corps. He served as a replacement starting in mid-July, 1944 through September, 1945. He was a Major using TOT (Time on Target) and attacked German forces expelling France, Belgium, part of Holland and then attacking across the Roer River and crossing Germany up to the west coast of Rhine River, and shortly causing Germany to surrender on May 7, 1945. He received the Croix de Guerre and the Bronze Star.
