Activity During WWII

Served in Company A of the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. Died when he parachuted into Normandy France on "D-DAY" 6 June 1944. It is believed he died from a broken neck sustained during his parachute jump into Normandy. He is buried in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Headland, Alabama.
