He earned the following medals and decorations during his honorable service to the Nation: Purple Heart Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal (Six Awards), American Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal with Japan Clasp, National Defense Service Medal with one bronze service star, Korean Service Medal with 3 bronze service stars, United Nations Service Medal with Korea Clasp, United Nations Service Medal - Korea, Combat Medical Badge and the Philippines Liberation Ribbon.
