Activity During WWII

Served in the 4th Infantry Division in Europe. The 25-year-old landed with the third wave on Utah Beach on D-Day. He was wounded the first time in July 1944 by shell fragments. His second injury occurred on October 14, 1944, the actions of which earned him a Bronze Star.
