Activity During WWII

Enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1943. Served with the 637th Ordnance Ammunition Company and achieved the rank of sergeant. Was the baker of the unit. Participated in the invasion force during D-Day 3. Was in Battle of the Bulge and invasion of Germany till end of war and left service in 1946. Decorations achieved were the Good Conduct medal, European–African–Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 3 bronze stars, and WW2 Victory medal.
