Mother
While in high school she was active in the art club, where she used her talents for the school as well as being a member of the chorus. During World War II, she served her country by working in the administrative division of the Naval Aviation Supply Depot (NASD) in Philadelphia PA during World War 2. In addition, she tirelessly participated in and frequented the USO dances on Arch Street in Philadelphia as well as weekly traveling to Ft. Dix New Jersey USO dances to spend time with soldiers arriving back or getting ready to deploy. She married her sweetheart (our father) when he returned from serving in the Army Air Corps and remained married until his passing in 2003. She continued to serve her country until her passing in 2023. She was always a loving, caring, understanding and compassionate person. She will be forever known as “Mom-Mom”.
