He had 4 other brothers & 2 brother-in-laws enlist over the next 2 yrs serve between the US Army,US Navy & USMC. 1 brother was KIA in Anzio, Italy June 01,1944. He was stationed with the 315th Coast Artillery Barrage Balloon Battalion Battery "C". He was also with the 574th (MPEG) Military Police Escort Guard @ numerous P.O.W Camps Atlanta NB, Camp Tyson, Myles Standish Boston Mass. Awarded numerous medals America Campaign, WW2 Victory, Army Good Conduct, American Defense Expert Rifle Marksman & Expert Carbine Marksman. Honorably Discharged Jan,28,1946 Ft. Dix, NJ. Was also awarded the NYS Medal for Merit signed by the Adjutant General.
