SSGT Price was in Company M of the 387th Infantry when wounded. To translate the reference below his name, from left-to-right: “Dy (duty status) to sk (sick or wounded) and sent to the 97th Division Clearing Company for treatment effective on April 3, 1945, LWA (Lightly Wounded in Action) in Germany (Rott, Germany, per the Report); from there sent to 123rd Evac. Hospital as of April 4. I also found records of two times he was wounded. Image 8 shows that he was treated for an infected wound in September of 1944. Image 7 refers to the wounds he received in Germany in April of 1945.
