Sworn in August 2, 1944 and went to recruit training in San Diego, CA. Attended radar school, was assigned to the U.S.S. Fallon and was aboard when it was commissioned on February 14, 1945. Served on the U.S.S. Fallon until transferred to the U.S. Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA on November 2, 1945. American Area, Asiatic Pacific and World War II Victory Ribbons.
