Activity During WWII

Served in the US Army from June 10, 1940 to October 23, 1945. He was assigned to duty in charge of a squadron supply room, assigned to 79th Airdrone Squadron. He served 24 months overseas in New Guinea, Dutch East Indies (Morotai) , Luzon, Philippines and Ryukyus Islands(Ie Shima). His awards include: Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon (with 3 Bronze Service Stars), Phillipine Liberation Ribbon (with 2 Bronze Service Stars).
