My father was in the D-Day invasion on Omaha Beach on the very first way of the invasion. He was also in the Battle of the Bulge. He was in Paris the next day after the Nazi's vacated. He was one of the soldiers that swept the Eiffel Tower for bombs. He had 3 brothers that were also involved in WWII. He had one brother that was killed in action in the battle of The Italian Campaign and is buried in the American Cemetery in Anzio/Netunno.
