Activity During WWII

He served in the 87th Infantry Division from November 1944 thru the end of the war. He started in the 347th K Company, Tiger Patrol Recon, and the 735th Tank Battalion. He fought initially along the German border around Saarbrucken, then went to the Battle of the Bulge in and around St Hubert, Belgium and Echternach, Luxembourg. Then he moved across central Germany crossing the Moselle and the Rhine at Koblenz, Germany and ending up at the time of the surrender in Plauen on the Czech border.
