He was a Higgins Industries Electrician, being listed as a "Radio Tech" in the 1940 Census. He built PT boats and landing craft and was on a War Bond Tour with one, according to his daughter. He would have been eligible to receive the Army-Navy “E” Award for excellence in production along with his fellow workers at Higgins Industries.
