Activity During WWII

On February 17, 1942, he enlisted in the US Army. He was sent overseas in June 1944 joining the ranks of the 7th Armored Division. On December 24, 1944, he was mortally wounded when he was driving a tank in Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge. His remains were later returned to be buried in Gettysburg National Cemetery.
