Activity During WWII

Enlisted 12 January 1942, Fort Sheridan Illinois. Served in the China, Burma, Indiana Theatre. " A mechanic in the Anti-Aircraft Artillery M. G. Battery until recently. He wrote that he has a few Japs to his credit, and he has been out and dropped a few lead eggs. He has been in active service since January 12, 1942, and has been in India since May of the same year he left the States." (Dunn County News 23 August 1944)
