Activity During WWII

Entering service in January of 1941, he was a Gunner on the B-24 Liberator "Rangoon Rosie" and served with the 7th Bombardment Group of the 10th Army Air Force based in India. He served in many campaigns and was on his 25th mission, when he was lost on January 23rd, 1944 on a mission over Merguy Malaya. Earning the Air Medal, his contributions, dedication, and sacrifices helped to turn the war around, helped to ensure Allied victory and helped to overcome the dark forces of tyranny in WW2.
