Rank: First Lieutenant, US Army Air Forces. Unit: 773rd Bomber Squadron, 463rd Bomber Group, Heavy. Reported missing in Europe 12/10/1944 by War Dept., Age 21; stationed in Italy had completed 37 missions and held Air Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, The Purple Heart, WWII Victory Medal, and a Presidential Unit Citation. CS Medal issued 5/5/1947. Commemorated in Perpetuity at Tablets of the Missing, Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.
