Activity During WWII

He served since October 1942; trained in Kentucky and later in Texas with the 747th Tank Battalion, who participated in the D-Day Normandy Invasion, landing the morning of 7 June 1944. He was KIA on 12 June 1944. He rests at the Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville on Mer. He was awarded the Purple Heart and WWII Victory Medal.
