Activity During WWII

He was assigned to Company G, 2nd Battalion, 318th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division. He was Killed In Action on February 8, 1945, while his regiment engaged in fierce fighting near the town of Biesdorf, Germany. His remains were accounted for on March 20, 2024 by the DPAA. He was interred on September 21, 2024 in Greenmont Union Cemetery, Freeport, Ohio.
