After D-Day transferred to France. Discharged from the Fort Dix, New Jersey on 22-Oct-1945 with the rank of Sargent from the Army Air Force, 819th Air Engineer Squadron. Awarded the American Defense Service metal, European African Middle Eastern Service metal, and Good Conduct metal. serving for a total of 5 years and 28 days, (2 years and 8 days in foreign service).
