Activity During WWII

Achieved the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army Air Corp while stationed in the Philippines during World War II and was awarded the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He was assigned to the War Crimes Investigation Detachment from 1944 to 1946 and served as adjutant to the defense counsel for General Yamashita at the close of the war.
