A proud U.S. Navy Veteran, who honorably served during World War II from 1944 to 1946. Following his service, he received commendation from Secretary of the Navy, James Forrestal, for his contributions to critical military operations, including the defeat of two enemy fleets within four months, the strategic deployment of land-based airpower within range of enemy forces, and the successful positioning of ground armies on beachheads, which contributed to our final victory.
