Served in Foreign Service 18 May 1944 to 22 January 1946 in the Pacific Theater with the United States Army, 81st Infantry Division, 322nd Infantry Regiment, Company L. Separated from Active Service 31 January 1946 at Indiantown Gap. Pennsylvania. Awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Philippines Liberation Ribbon w/1 Bronze Star, American Theater Service Medal, Asian Pacific Service Medal w/2 Bronze Stars and the WWII Victory Medal.
