Branch Seal
Activity During WWII

He proudly served four years in the U.S. Navy during World War II, with deployments across the North and South Pacific as well as the North and South Atlantic. A dedicated patriot, he was a lifelong member of both the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. During his service, he was stationed aboard the USS William D. Porter, a destroyer that was ultimately sunk by a kamikaze attack, remarkably, with no casualties reported.
