Activity During WWII

He served in World War II under General Patton in Item Company, 109th Infantry Regiment, 28th Infantry División. He was sent over seas and landed on the beach of Normandy. In November 1944 he was wounded in France. He was sent back to United States to receive medical treatment. He received the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart. He was honorable discharged from service in August 1945.
