Activity During WWII

He was inducted into the U.S. Army on May 26, 1943 at the age of 19, in Nogales, Arizona and served until his death November 17, 1944 in Germany. He served as a Private in the B-Co. 175th Infantry Regiment A.P.O. 29 and was a Purple Heart Medal Recipient. He was originally buried at the American Military Cemetery in Margraten, Holland, Plot B, Row 7, Grave 164. Beloved son and brother. His mother requested that his remains be sent back home and was laid to rest in the Nogales cemetery. His name, along with his brothers' is on the WWII Memorial Wall outside the Nogales City Hall. Thank you for your dedication, bravery, and sacrifice. You will never be forgotten.
