Activity During WWII

He was a private in the US Army. He was a member of Company H of the 383rd Infantry, 96th Infantry Division. (The Deadeyes) He served in Okinawa and was killed in action on Friday the 13th of April, 1945. Jack was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart medals.
