Activity During WWII

He served from December 30, 1942 to January 25, 1946. He was a mechanic and truck driver who operated and performed minor maintenance on two-and-a-half and three-quarter ton trucks, jeeps and passenger cars for 18 months in the United States and European Theater of Operations. He drove for six months under combat and blackout conditions in France and Germany. He was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious service in a combat zone.
