USAAF WWII MOS - 657 MEDICAL CORPSMAN. Drafted in 1942, but not Active Duty til 1943. Spent 3 years in service until 1946. Awarded Army Good Conduct Medal & WWII Victory Medal. •Cared for soldiers who came in for First Aid. •Assisted Nurses and Doctors in medical procedures and care. •Drove Truck transporting medical & other supplies. •Performed watch duty & was at the ready when new Pilot flight training was performed, in case of emergency. •Stationed at Randolph AAF, Universal City, Belarusian County, Texas near the Alamo.
