Activity During WWII

Served in the U.S. Marine Corps from July 1945 to August 1946 as a Guard (522 MOS). He graduated from Boot Camp in San Diego and attended Sea School. He served as a Guard with the Marine Barracks at Naval Disciplinary Station, Camp Shoemaker, in Dublin, CA, and at Alameda Naval Air Station. He earned the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, the American Campaign Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.
