Activity During WWII

He received the following training; Basic Training AAA 521, Anti-Aircraft Art NCO 601, Telephone Operator 309 and Heavy Machine Operator 605. He then was assigned to serve in General Patton’s Third Army, 89th Infantry Division, known as the Rolling W and fought in the Rhineland and Central Europe campaigns. He was awarded the WWII Victory Medal and the European, African, Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon with two battle stars.
