Activity During WWII

WWII Dec 31 1941–June 5 1945. He served as an engineer with the 334th Repair Squadron, 27th Air Depot Group (5th Army Air Force) at Port Moresby, New Guinea, providing critical aircraft maintenance and salvage operations. He tragically lost his life in a plane crash in the New Guinea theater of operations on June 5, 1945. Earned the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze campaign star and the World War II Victory Medal.
