Served in European Theater of Operations. Served in 9th U.S. Army. Awarded the Purple Heart, Good Combat Medal, European Theater of Operations Ribbon, 2 Bronze Stars, and others. Was wounded in the Crossing of the Roer River while on duty and died on the way to the base hospital. He was serving as Chief of section number 6. Served January 14, 1943 - February 25, 1945; died at age 21.
