Inducted in February 1943. Discharged, 1946. Sent to Florida and pulled Kitchen Patrol and guard duty. Sent to Atlanta, Georgia for three months at Ordnance Depot and was taught how to work on motorcycles. After leaving Atlanta, Georgia, sent to Little Falls, Minnesota, then to Santa Monica, California, working in the Motor Pool. From California to Texas. Sent to Oklahoma to learn how to winch trucks out of mud and how to put out flames on certain parts of airplanes. From Oklahoma to Seattle, Washington and from Seattle to Guam.
