Member of the 8th Air Force, 2nd Air Division, 389th Bomb Group, 567th Bomb Squadron. Co-Pilot of a B-24 Liberator Bomber. Hit by flak over Dessau, Germany. Exploded in mid-air near Hamburg, Germany. Killed in action on August 16, 1944. Received the Air Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters.
