Activity During WWII

Became 1st pilot of a B-29. With his crew, flew to an American base near Chengdu, China. Soon after arrival on November 21, 1944, he was flying as a substitute co-pilot with another crew on a bombing mission toward Omura, Japan. Plane crashed as it was taking off and all crew members were killed.
