Entered on October 31, 1944 at Fort Logan. Took Infantry Basic Training from November 1944 to March 1, 1945. Further Infantry Basic Training from March 13 to April 5 at Fort Ord, California. Sailed from Oak A Base to the Philippine Islands from April 6 to May 7, 1945. Combat on Luzon. Prepared to sail to Japan from September 9, 1945 to October 12, 1945. With the Army of Occupation from October 10, 1945 to September 9, 1946. Transferred from Japan the the U.S.. Discharged on December 4, 1946.
