Served from March 4, 1943 until February 10, 1946. In Company L, 370th Infantry until November 15, 1944. Then served in the 365th Infantry until October 2, 1946, in the 92nd Division. All of it was duty except for 6 months in basic training. Was in combat with the 92nd Infantry Division. Received the American Defense Service Medal, American Theater of Operations Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Victory Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, MKM and the Bronze Star Medal.
