Activity During WWII

Joined April 1941; discharged July 1943. While stationed at McCord Field, Washington as a radio gunner on an A-29 Lockheed Hudson plane, the plane crashed in the mountains on routine patrol. Two men were killed. After spending 1 1/2 years in the Fort Lewis Hospital, he was left disabled and was discharged.
