Activity During WWII

Served in an all Indian, Company B, 163rd Infantry, 41st Division. Served in the campaigns of Guadalcanal and Northern Solomon, 1941-1945. Was a Squad leader, scout, sniper and the first Indian Sioux Code-talker in machine gun position in Oahu, Hawaii, December 23, 1941. Also fought in the battle of the caves in New Guinea.
