Entered the Army in 1943. Infantry Basic at Camp Croft, South Carolina. Transferred to the 8th Armored Division, to machine gun S-8. Sailed to England, France, Luxembourg to General Patton's 3rd Army during the Battle of the Bulge. Sailed home and discharged in 1946.
