Activity During WWII

Served as a Cooks Helper with Company F, 291st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, 75th Infantry Division. Served in the European Theatre from 2 November 1944 through 1 February 1946. Received the Combat Infantry Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Victory Medal, American Theatre Service Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theatre Medal with three bronze stars, Bronze Star Medal, and the Belgian Croix De Guerre award. Also served on the Edmund B. Alexander, 22 October 1944.
