Activity During WWII

Front line medic with the 36th Infantry Division from Naples, Italy through the Anzio Beachhead and through Rome. Landed in Southern France on September 29, 1944. Was captured by the German Army in the Vosges Mountains on October 29, 1944. Was a POW at Stalag 5A and 4B until May 21, 1945. Returned to the U.S. on June 12, 1945.
