Activity During WWII

As reported by Chief of Staff, General George Marshall, United States Army, Frederick Kennedy Plyley was a brave pilot and Royal officer whose integrity and perseverance commanded the highest regard of all his associates. He received the Silver pilot's Wings. On April 23, 1943, he departed for the U.S. to participate in the European part of the war. His plane was forced down during a heavy storm on the North Atlantic Ocean. He died April 24, 1943.
