Activity During WWII

Inducted into the Army in 1941, served at Fort Dix and Fort Bragg before being promoted to Corporal, Technician 5th Grade, Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 69th Coast Artillery Anti-Aircraft. Stationed in Patterson, New Jersey before being assigned to a coastal artillery unit in Sicily, Italy. Wounded and given the Purple Heart. Killed in Action April 16, 1944. Serial Number 32166134.
