Activity During WWII

Inducted in the army on March 14, 1944. Took 16 weeks training. Shipped to the European Theater of Operations in September 1944 as a replacement assigned to Company H, 397th Infantry, 100th Division. In the Vosges Mountains taken prisoner on December 11, 1944. Liberated by Russian Army. Returned to American Line on May 3, 1945 at Torgau.
