Activity During WWII

Volunteered for the Ray-O-Vac Battery Company, Madison, Wisconsin to make batteries for WWII and for neighborhood warden for night-time blackouts. As President, 1955 to 1956, of the Department of Wisconsin American Legion auxiliary, she worked to establish extra facilities at veterans' hospitals in Wisconsin and for many years served as a volunteer at the hospital in Madison. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 73 years, and died in 1999 at age 100.
