Activity During WWII

Member of the 100th Infantry division in combat in Europe, France and Germany, As member of 81 mm Mortar Platoon of Company H, 397th Infantry; in combat from November 1944 Baccarat-Lorraine, Vosges Campaign, north to Maginot area where the 100th Division stopped the German counteroffensive January 1945; into Germany Spring 1945. Combat ended in Stuttgart April 1945.
