Activity During WWII

Was in the National Guard when Pearl Harbor was bombed on December 7, 1941. Earned a Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service in the Hawaiian and Ryukyu Islands, October 1944 to July 1945. As commanding officer, Headquarters Company, 10th Army, supervised the the movement to Okinawa. Set up and organized the Command Post for 600 officers and 900 enlisted men. Retired 1974.
